What Will Be on the New, Improved Weather Channel?

When the channel announced last year that it would turn its focus away from live forecasts (because of competition from Internet sites like Obama-Weather.com), it was unclear what they would broadcast other than regular showings of Twister. But now, the mist has lifted! NBC posted a video interview with Peacock Productions executive Sharon Scott where she compared the new look to the reinventions of both MSNBC and the TV Guide channel, and previewed some of the new weather-based reality shows: One will be a thirteen-part series about a "crazy" landscape photographer.
