Long-Delayed James Bond Film Set for November 2012

Is there a light at the end of MGM's tunnel? As part of the studio's bankruptcy filing, MGM has presented future plans for the James Bond franchise, and it seems the delayed-then-canceled Bond 23 is back on, with a hoped-for release date of November 2012. (The studio would then produce another Bond film every other year, with the intention of wholly owning those installments after going in halfsies on the next one.) Whether or not intended director Sam Mendes will return to helm a Peter Morgan script remains up in the air, however. [Bloomberg]
